Dubai Municipality has launched an initiative to install EV supercharging stations across 600 parking spaces in parks, beaches, and recreational areas, with an investment of AED 150 million in partnership with Emarat EV Charging Stations Company (UAEV).
The project aims to promote sustainable mobility by integrating charging infrastructure into high-traffic public spaces, enhancing convenience for residents and visitors.
In its first phase, 75 supercharging stations will be installed across 150 parking bays over the next two years, covering key parks and beaches across Dubai.
Aligned with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, the initiative supports private sector collaboration while contributing to increased EV adoption and reduced carbon emissions.
