Dubai is set to welcome the Dubai Museum of Art (DUMA), a stunning new landmark that appears to float on Dubai Creek. Unveiled by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Tadao Ando-designed museum will be both a centre for creativity and a masterpiece itself.
Inspired by the sea and pearls — symbols of Dubai’s heritage — the Dubai Museum of Art (DUMA) will rise five stories above Dubai Creek as a new cultural icon.
The museum will include galleries, a restaurant, and a VIP lounge, along with spaces for talks, art fairs, and educational programmes, plus a library and training facilities to inspire and nurture future generations of creative talent.
