The General Authority of Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat has stated that Eid Al Fitr prayers will take place inside mosques across the country, with outdoor prayer grounds excluded this year.
The authority confirmed that the directive applies nationwide, meaning customary open-air Eid prayer locations will not be used.
Officials said the step is aimed at ensuring orderly arrangements and enhancing public safety, with worshippers set to attend prayers at mosques across the emirates.
The authority said all UAE mosques are ready for Eid prayers and urged the public to follow official guidelines.
