Emirates Skywards members can now redeem Miles for train travel to more than 12,000 destinations across Europe through the new Skywards Rail service.
The platform offers access to over 40 rail operators in 12 countries, including Eurostar, Deutsche Bahn, SNCF, Trenitalia and Renfe. Members can book domestic, international and high-speed rail journeys using Miles or Cash + Miles, with tickets available online and via the mobile app.
Sample one-way redemptions available through Skywards Rail include:
Berlin–Frankfurt from 4,100 Miles
Heathrow Express from 4,700 Miles
Barcelona–Madrid from 5,400 Miles
Rome–Milan from 8,100 Miles
London–Paris from 9,400 Miles
Dr. Nejib Ben Khedher, Divisional Senior Vice-President of Emirates Skywards, said members are looking for more flexible ways to use their Miles. He said the launch of Skywards Rail expands redemption options beyond flights, enabling members to connect seamlessly after Emirates or flydubai journeys, travel between major European cities, or discover new destinations using their Miles.
The new service expands Emirates Skywards' non-flight redemption options, giving members more ways to use their Miles throughout their travel journey. Launched in 2000, the loyalty programme now has more than 39 million members across 190 countries and welcomes over 78,000 new members each week.
