Emirates has unveiled a new electrically powered Premium Economy seat with a full-height adjustable privacy screen for its Airbus A350 aircraft. The 2-3-2 cabin will feature 28 seats, each 20 inches wide with up to 39 inches of pitch and a cradle-style recline.
Changes include:
- Full-height privacy screen: Electric divider provides greater privacy between seats.
- Adjustable divider: Can be raised, lowered and locked at the touch of a button.
- Powered seat: Electric controls offer easy seat adjustments.
- Lounge & Meal modes: Dedicated settings enhance passenger comfort.
- U-Dream headrest: Adjustable leather wings provide better head and neck support.
- Leather footrest: Offers added comfort and helps reduce leg fatigue.
- Wireless charging: New feature, along with USB-C charging at every seat.
- Phone holder: Built into the tray table for convenient second-screen use.
- 4K entertainment: 13.3-inch 4K HDR touchscreen for inflight entertainment.
- New camera views: A350s add left- and right-facing exterior views.
Emirates introduced Premium Economy in 2022 and has since expanded the cabin across its fleet, including A350s, selected A380s and retrofitted Boeing 777s.
