Etihad Airways expands network with four new international routes

Etihad Airways has launched new routes to Tunis, Hanoi, Chiang Mai, and Hong Kong, marking a key milestone in its strongest year of expansion. Rolled out over three consecutive days, the additions boost Abu Dhabi’s position as a global hub and represent nearly 45% of the UAE’s aviation growth in 2025, adding capacity, enhancing connectivity, and supporting trade and tourism across Africa and Asia.

Etihad Airways has launched new routes from Abu Dhabi this November, expanding its global network:

- Tunis (from 1 Nov, 3 weekly flights): Strengthens links with North Africa to meet growing UAE–Tunisia travel demand.

- Hanoi (from 2 Nov, 6 weekly flights): Marks Etihad’s first direct connection to Vietnam’s capital, boosting trade and tourism.

- Chiang Mai (from 3 Nov, 4 weekly flights): Connects northern Thailand with the Middle East and Europe via Abu Dhabi.

- Hong Kong (from 3 Nov, 5 weekly flights): Resumes flights to Asia’s major financial hub, complemented by a renewed codeshare with Hong Kong Airlines for expanded regional reach.
