The MoU was signed at the Dubai Airshow 2025 by Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, flydubai’s Chairman and CEO, and Christian Scherer, Airbus CEO of Commercial Aircraft.
The Airbus A321neo, the newest and best-selling single-aisle jet in the A320 family, will join flydubai’s fleet. Sheikh Ahmed said the move supports long-term growth and marks a major shift from the airline’s all-Boeing fleet, driven partly by delays in 737 Max deliveries.
