Global Village, one of Dubai’s favourite outdoor destinations has announced a special programme to mark the upcoming Hag Al Laila celebrations. It will host a series of festive activities from Saturday, January 31 to Tuesday, February 3, bringing the traditional Emirati occasion to life for visitors of all ages.
The celebrations will kick off with a dazzling fireworks display on Saturday at 9pm at Fireworks Avenue, which will be visible across the park. The following evening, a Hag Al Laila-themed drone show will light up the sky at 9.05pm, adding to the festive atmosphere.
As part of the spirit of giving associated with Hag Al Laila, Global Village will distribute free sweets to children throughout the four-day event, reflecting the tradition of youngsters visiting neighbours, singing songs and receiving treats.
Visitors can also look forward to an authentic Emirati experience, with heritage-inspired decorations, a traditional majlis, and a range of creative workshops and cultural activities designed especially for children.
