The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) has granted a 30-day grace period, from June 10 to July 9, 2026, for individuals affected by regional disruptions to regularize their status or leave the UAE without penalties.
The move aims to support compliance with UAE regulations and help affected residents continue living and working legally in the country.
Beneficiaries can either adjust their residency or employment status to remain in the UAE or depart under existing procedures during the grace period. ICP also urged affected individuals to follow official channels for updates.
The authority had previously waived overstay fines for those unable to leave the UAE due to airspace closures and flight suspensions from February 28, 2026.
