‘Jood’ platform launched ‘Tadhamon’ campaign to help people whose homes and properties have been affected by adverse weather

Dubai's Community Development Authority (CDA) has started an initiative on its 'Jood' platform to encourage community contributions to assist those affected by the UAE's recent heavy rains and floods. The move is in accordance with the orders of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council.

The 'Tadhamon' (solidarity) campaign, launched under the umbrella of the 'Committee for Assisting Weather-Affected Citizens in Dubai', will allow private sector entities, business persons, and members of society to assist people whose homes and properties have been affected by adverse weather conditions.

The Authority stated that it has received several requests for contributions from individuals and businesses willing to assist those affected.

The integration of the project within the 'Jood' digital platform enables smooth participation and tracking of the campaign's progress.

Real-time updates on support requirements and accomplishments will be readily available.

Financial contributions will be used to help individuals affected by the weather, including those registered with the Community Development Authority and those registered with charities, institutions, and participating entities on the 'Jood' platform.
