Flight operations at Dubai International Airport have partially resumed after a temporary suspension on Saturday, March 7, with airlines currently operating limited schedules.
Flights operated by Emirates and flydubai were affected by recent airspace closures across the UAE, while limited operations have now resumed at both Dubai International Airport and Al Maktoum International Airport (Dubai World Central).
Emirates is currently operating a limited number of flights and plans to gradually return to its full schedule in the coming days, prioritizing passengers with earlier bookings.
Meanwhile, flydubai resumed a reduced schedule to several destinations on March 5 and is gradually adding more flights as airspace restrictions ease, warning that some journeys may take longer due to temporary rerouting.
British Airways has cancelled all flights to Dubai until later this month, with no confirmed date for resumption.
Meanwhile, Dubai Airports has urged travellers to check with their airlines for updates and only go to the airport if they have confirmed bookings. Transit passengers will be accepted only if their connecting flights are operating.
Both Emirates and flydubai said passenger and crew safety remains their top priority as the situation continues to be monitored.
Affected passengers can rebook flights for travel before April 30 or request refunds, depending on their booking terms. Travellers are also advised to check their flight status and email updates before heading to the airport.
