The Palm Monorail has confirmed a temporary suspension of services as it undergoes essential maintenance, with the closure in place until further notice.
A key public transport link in Palm Jumeirah, the monorail has halted operations to allow for station works. The elevated line, which starts at Palm Gateway in Dubai Media City, is popular for its scenic views as it connects the base of Palm Jumeirah to its top. The full journey usually takes around nine minutes, with approximately three minutes between stations.
The route passes Palm Jumeirah Mall and ends at Atlantis Aquaventure. During the closure, passengers are advised to use alternative transport options. The Dubai Tram and several bus routes continue to serve Palm Gateway, while taxis or private vehicles will be needed to access destinations on the Palm until monorail services resume.
