Ras Al Khaimah International Airport is set to develop a new VVIP terminal and private jet hangar to cater to luxury travellers visiting the emirate’s beach resorts and the $3.9-billion Wynn Al Marjan Island, the region’s first integrated gaming resort opening in early 2027. The announcement was made at the Dubai Airshow in collaboration with Falcon Executive Aviation, part of Alex Group Investment.
Under the partnership, Falcon will build and manage a new Fixed Base Operation (FBO) that includes a 1,500sqm terminal, an 8,000sqm multi-purpose hangar, and 9,000sqm of apron and aircraft parking. The airport noted that the expansion aligns with Ras Al Khaimah’s broader aviation and tourism strategy, supported by its proximity—just 15 minutes—to key beachfront attractions and the upcoming resort.
The new VVIP terminal will feature a Royal lounge, four dedicated VVIP lounges, and high-end hospitality spaces, alongside airside amenities such as a helipad, extensive aircraft parking, and designated areas for future vertical mobility services. The hangar will accommodate various private jets, including ultra-long-range models, and offer both maintenance and operational support.
