RTA announces temporary changes to Dubai, Abu Dhabi bus routes for UAE national day
29 Nov 2024
NewsThe Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai has announced temporary adjustments to two of its busiest intercity bus routes during the UAE National Day celebrations.
If you frequently use the E100 or E102 routes between Dubai and Abu Dhabi, expect slight changes to your journey between Friday, November 29, and Tuesday, December 3. These modifications aim to streamline travel during the 53rd Eid Al Etihad festivities.
The E100 will temporarily divert its departure point from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station to Ibn Battuta Bus Station. This change will affect passengers traveling from areas in Bur Dubai, with Ibn Battuta better suited for residents in New Dubai neighborhoods like Jebel Ali, Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Dubai Marina, Al Barsha, and Palm Jumeirah.
Meanwhile, the E102 route will also operate from Ibn Battuta Bus Station, connecting travelers to Mussafah Shabiya Bus Station in Abu Dhabi.
Earlier this week, RTA introduced several permanent bus service enhancements. A new route now connects passengers to Global Village, catering to visitors of the popular seasonal destination.
Additionally, two new routes have been introduced: one serves as a metro feeder route linking Al Ras Metro Station to Union Bus Station, while the other provides a connection between Mira Community and Dubai Studio City, with a stop at Neshama Townhouses along the way.
