Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has released timings and fares for marine transport services on New Year’s Eve, December 31, 2025. Dubai Ferry, Water Taxi and Abras will operate between 10:00 pm and 10:30 pm, with all trips ending at 1:30 am.
Dubai Ferry: Departures from Marina Mall, Al Ghubaiba and Bluewaters. Fares are Dh350 for Silver Class and Dh525 for Gold Class. Children aged 2–10 get 50% off; under-twos travel free.
Water Taxi: Operating from Marina Mall only. Full-boat booking costs Dh3,750 for up to 20 passengers, including a wheelchair space.
Abras: Available from Al Jaddaf, Al Fahidi, Al Ghubaiba and Marina Mall at Dh150 per person; children under two travel free.
The extended services are designed to support crowds heading to New Year’s Eve events and fireworks at key waterfront locations such as Burj Khalifa, Burj Al Arab, Atlantis The Palm, Bluewaters and JBR. Marine transport remains popular for reaching destinations like The World Islands, Palm Islands, Dubai Water Canal and heritage districts.
