Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) will conduct a strategic emergency drill at the city’s Aerial Taxi Vertiport (VDX) on Wednesday, September 16, from 9am to 12pm. The exercise will involve Dubai Police, Dubai Civil Defence, Dubai Ambulance, the Dubai Resilience Centre and other government entities to test coordinated emergency response procedures at the facility.
Residents and motorists near the vertiport may notice a heightened presence of emergency responders and government officials during the drill. The exercise will allow authorities to test inter-agency coordination and evaluate operational readiness at the aerial taxi facility.
