Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has added a new direct route on the Red Line to improve the city's metro system and alleviate peak-hour traffic for thousands of commuters each day,
The recently opened route offers customers an extra way to go around during the busiest morning and evening hours by connecting Centrepoint Station with Al Fardan Exchange Station. By adding to the two direct lines that are currently in place, Centrepoint to Expo City Dubai and Centrepoint to Life Pharmacy Station, the Red Line becomes more adaptable and sensitive to the demands of its passengers. There are now three Red Line lines run by RTA.
The Red Line will be less congested because to the new, shorter line, which will also give commuters more options for comfortable travel.
Prior to this, the RTA also established a direct connection between Expo City Station and Centrepoint Station. The fact that travelers no longer have to change trains at Jebel Ali Metro Station on their way to Expo City Dubai or Life Pharmacy Station is among the route's biggest advantages. They can save time and cut down on transfer-related delays by taking a direct train from Centrepoint instead.
In addition to immediately serving Life Pharmacy Station and Al Fardan Exchange Station, RTA informed that Red Line trains will now alternate between Expo City Dubai and UAE Exchange terminals.
