Sharjah Airport has launched a new ‘Home Check-in’ service, allowing travellers to complete their check-in process from their homes, hotels, or offices — offering a faster and more convenient travel experience.
With this service, passengers can have their boarding passes issued and baggage collected right from their doorstep. Upon arriving at the airport, they can bypass the check-in lines entirely and proceed straight to passport control, as a dedicated Sharjah Airport team handles all the formalities in advance.
Travellers can easily book the service through www.sharjahairport.ae, by calling 800745424, or via the SHJ Home Check-In mobile app. Reservations should be made at least eight hours before flight departure. The service is particularly convenient for families and business travellers who want to save time and enjoy a hassle-free experience during peak travel periods.
The service offers three pricing tiers based on the number of bags:
- Coral Package: AED 145 for 1–2 bags
- Silver Package: AED 165 for 3–4 bags
- Gold Package: AED 185 for up to 6 bags
Each additional bag is charged AED 20, following the airline’s baggage policy. Currently, the first phase of the service is available in select areas across Sharjah.
