Sharjah Airport has introduced enhanced measures to handle the expected surge in passengers during the winter holiday season and ensure smooth travel. Travellers are advised to arrive at least three hours before departure.
To streamline movement, Air Arabia passengers can use off-airport check-in at select city locations and proceed directly to immigration. The airport also offers self-service kiosks, dedicated baggage drop counters, smart gates, fast-track services, the Hala assistance programme, and home check-in for Air Arabia and Fly Jinnah passengers.
The newly opened Al Diyafah Lounge provides premium pre-flight comfort, while increased staffing across all departments ensures faster processing for departures and arrivals. These measures support Sharjah Airport’s ongoing efforts to boost efficiency and maintain high service standards during peak winter travel.
