Sharjah Museums offers free museum entry for International Museum Day celebrations

Sharjah Museums Authority will offer free entry to all museums across Sharjah City, Khor Fakkan, and Kalba on May 18 to mark International Museum Day.

The four-day programme, running from May 15 to 18 under the theme “Museums Uniting a Divided World,” will feature workshops, guided tours, live performances, panel discussions, community activities, and an art exhibition promoting cultural dialogue, inclusion, and heritage preservation.

Activities will take place at venues including Sharjah Fort, Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilization, and Sharjah Maritime Museum, with programmes designed for all ages and communities, including people with disabilities.

The celebrations will also include the “Between the Lines” art exhibition and the “Sharjah Museums Passport” campaign, which encourages visitors to explore museums and win prizes through May 31, 2026.
