Sharjah’s Roads and Transport Authority (SRTA) has partnered with ION to roll out a wide network of EV charging stations, boosting green mobility across the emirate. ION, a joint venture between Beeah and Crescent Enterprises, will install and operate over 100 fast chargers across Sharjah, including its central and eastern regions.
The agreement comes after ION was approved as Sharjah’s first authorised EV charging operator, marking a significant step toward sustainable transport in the emirate. ION will also offer a mobile app that lets users find nearby chargers, track charging in real time, and make seamless payments.
