October taxi fares in Ajman will be Dh1.75 per km, the emirate's transport authority aannounced on X. This is a 5 fils decrease from the Dh1.80 per kilometre rate in September.
This is the second month in a row that the fare per km has dropped. The September fee was previously 3 fils less than the August cost of Dh1.83 per kilometre.
This occurs subsequent to the declaration of fuel prices, which will take effect on October 1. The prices dropped by as much as 24 fils per litre in comparison to September rates.
