
Abu Dhabi's freelancer licence now includes thirty new activities, according to a Thursday announcement from the authorities. The Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development's Abu Dhabi Business Centre (ADBC) issued advice, which states that the following topics would be covered by the activities:
• Oil and natural gas field production software design
• Production models by 3D imaging
• Online players support service providers
• Data classification and analysis services
• Artificial intelligence (AI) development
• Designing electronic equipment, device systems and software
• Development and innovation for computer systems and programmes
Experts and competent people can provide their services to businesses, organisations, institutions, and private citizens with a freelancer professional licence.
The candidate must possess expertise in a certain industry or sector, as well as having achieved academic or professional success in that field, in order to be granted the licence. A legal framework, labour norms, and general requirements for the freelancer professional licence have already been developed by Added.

According to Mohammed Munif Al Mansouri, executive director of the ADBC, 1,013 licenses for various freelance activities were granted throughout the previous year.
