Abu Dhabi City Municipality, in partnership with Abu Dhabi Maritime, has inaugurated two new recreational fishing platforms at Al Bateen Beach and Arabian Gulf Park, attended by Ahmed Fadel Al Mehairbi, Acting Director General of the municipality.
The initiative supports the Department of Municipalities and Transport’s efforts to provide high-quality recreational facilities for all community segments. Each platform spans 190 square meters with a 45-meter fishing frontage, open daily from 6:00 a.m. to midnight, and equipped with various amenities. With these additions, Abu Dhabi now has 15 designated fishing sites, offering safe and accessible options for enthusiasts citywide.
