The UAE has confirmed a four-day break for government employees for the year’s final public holiday, held in honour of the National Day celebrations, now referred to as Eid Al Etihad.
Public sector workers will have December 1 and 2 — Monday and Tuesday — as paid holidays, the government announced. Regular working hours for ministries and federal departments will resume on Wednesday, December 3. With the weekend preceding the holiday, residents can look forward to an extended four-day weekend.
