The UAE on Tuesday announced that distance learning will continue until Friday, March 6, as officials keep a close watch on the regional security situation. The extension covers all students, along with academic and administrative staff, across public and private schools and universities.
Knowledge and Human Development Authority issued a parallel statement aligning with the decision taken by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
Authorities had initially shifted to remote learning on Saturday, February 28, following the first day of the Iranian offensive, with online classes scheduled from Monday, March 2, to Wednesday, March 4.
