United Arab Emirates named global AI leader in Stanford Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence reporthe United Arab Emirates has been recognised as a global leader in artificial intelligence in the AI Index Report 2026 by Stanford Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence.

The report highlights the country’s strong institutional support, along with solid performance in AI skills, jobs, adoption, and talent. It notes that the UAE exceeds expectations in AI adoption relative to GDP per capita, ranking alongside Singapore.

It also underscores efforts to integrate AI into education through the National AI Strategy 2031, while praising Technology Innovation Institute for its work in applied AI.
