The UAE has become the world’s fastest-growing hub for AI talent, recording a 121 per cent increase in artificial intelligence talent concentration between 2019 and 2025, according to figures shared by Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Citing the 2026 Stanford AI Index Report in a post on X, Sheikh Saif said the UAE ranked first globally for AI talent growth among LinkedIn members, ahead of India, Saudi Arabia, Cyprus and Portugal.
The achievement highlights the UAE’s strong focus on artificial intelligence, digital infrastructure and attracting global talent through strategic investments, further strengthening its position as a leading hub for technology and innovation.
