World Governments Summit 2026 Opens in Dubai with Record International Participation

The World Governments Summit 2026 opened today in Dubai under the theme “Shaping Future Governments,” marking the largest international participation in its history. The summit gathers over 6,250 leaders, ministers, and experts to explore global challenges, share strategies, and strengthen governance and international cooperation.

This year’s edition features more than 60 heads of state, 500 ministers, and delegates from 150+ governments, along with 700+ CEOs, 87 Nobel laureates, and representatives from global institutions. The agenda includes 445+ sessions, 25 global forums, and over 45 high-level meetings, focusing on practical solutions for future-ready governance.

The summit will also release 36 strategic reports, launch the 3rd Global Ministers Survey, and present awards including the Best Minister, Most Reformed Government, Dubai International Best Practices for Sustainable Development, and the Global Teacher Prize.
