To improve preventive safety standards in houses around the UAE capital, the Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority and e& have teamed together to install, run, and oversee the "Hassantuk for Homes" electronic system, which activates early fire detection systems in homes.
In addition to implementing an AI-enhanced Hassantuk smart system with direct connectivity to control rooms, the agreement includes the deployment of smart infrastructure that can detect fires in their earliest stages and strengthen home safety.
The partnership demonstrates how artificial intelligence may be used to detect possible risks early on, greatly lowering the risk to people and property. It also advances the more general objective of using cutting-edge sensing technology to reach the highest public safety requirements.
The UAE Cabinet had ordered that starting on January 1, 2024, Hassantuk systems be installed in all residential villas that were already built or were being built. By 2024, Hassantuk for Homes had successfully identified more than 400 fires and covered more than 50,000 villas in the United Arab Emirates. Targeting approximately 500,000 structures and private residences at the federal level, it is the biggest and first project of its sort.
