Police in Abu Dhabi have emphasized the significance of yielding to emergency, ambulance, police, and official convoy vehicles. Violators risk a Dh3,000 fine, 30 days of vehicle confiscation, and six black points on their driver's license. The notification is a part of the police's most recent awareness campaign, "Don't Hesitate." In partnership with the Department of Health, the Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority, and the Department of Municipalities and Transport, represented by the Integrated Transport Centre (Abu Dhabi Mobility), "Give Way Immediately" was introduced.

The campaign seeks to encourage drivers to respond quickly and responsibly when emergency vehicles are approaching. The importance of prompt reactions in preventing fatalities, minimizing harm, and enhancing Abu Dhabi's reputation as the safest city in the world is emphasized.
