Arabian Travel Market commenced its 31st edition at Dubai World Trade Centre

This week marks the 31st edition of Arabian Travel Market (ATM), the premier worldwide event for the travel and tourism industry, which will be held at the Dubai World Trade Center. The yearly trade fair, which is being held from May 6–9, is anticipated to draw over 41,000 visitors. It will include 2,300 exhibitors from 165 different nations.

ATM 2024's theme, "Empowering Innovation – Transforming Travel through Entrepreneurship," highlights the part that startups and entrepreneurs will play in determining the direction of travel and tourism in the future. More than 200 speakers from the Global and Future Stages will present more than 50 sessions during the four-day conference.

Issam Abdulrahim Kazim, who outlined Dubai's tourism objectives, will give a keynote address. A ministerial debate on GCC tourism strategy will also take place. The tourism potential of China, India, and Latin America is examined at the Market Insights Summit. The Future Stage begins with talks about Middle Eastern island tourist prospects and developments in hospitality, tackling travel difficulties brought on by the world economy.

With a 26% increase in exhibitor participation from the previous year, Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2024 is expected to be the largest edition yet, confirming its position as a major event in the world's travel and tourism sector. All industries show signs of regional expansion, with the Middle East, Asia, Europe, and Africa leading the way. There will be more than 100 travel technology companies showing their breakthroughs, and the Travel Tech area will grow by 58% as a result of the increased interest in showcasing these developments. This expansion highlights how important ATMs are for business and networking opportunities across a range of travel-related industries and verticals.

Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors, consumer preferences, and the cooperative efforts needed to build a more sustainable future for travel and tourism will all be covered at the Sustainability Summit on May 9. In the meantime, the exhibitor who has demonstrated exceptional efforts to lower the carbon footprint of their display will receive the Sustainable display Award.

The Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), the official airline partner of ATM 2024, IHG Hotels & Resorts, the official hotel partner, and Al Rais Travel, the official DMC partner, are the event's strategic partners. ATM 2024 is being held in partnership with the Dubai World Trade Center.
