Bridge from Dubai–Al Ain Road to Nad Al Sheba to reduce travel time

On Monday, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) of Dubai announced that it will build a bridge that would decrease the travel time between Dubai–Al Ain Road to Nad Al Sheba by 83%, from six minutes to just one.

With a length of about 700 meters, the two-lane bridge in Nad Al Sheba will service the residential areas there and give incoming traffic from Dubai–Al Ain Road a direct route to Al Ain.

With a design capacity of 2,600 vehicles per hour, the project eases traffic at entry and exit points throughout the Nad Al Sheba neighborhood and allows for smooth and efficient traffic flow for an area with 30,000 or more residents.

The new bridge is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2026, with construction set to start in the fourth quarter of 2025. The new bridge in Nad Al Sheba is being built as part of RTA's strategic plan to improve traffic and make it safer.
