Dubai is the fourth smartest city in the world, according to a 2025 ranking. Out of an astounding 146 cities, Dubai ranked fourth in the recently released IMD Smart City Index 2025 data.
The statistics revealed favorable poll responses to questions on traffic congestion, face recognition technology, online information availability, and non-cash payments, among other aspects.
Health and safety, public transportation, green spaces, and even job prospects were among the other areas that were studied.
In addition to assessing how cities are handling the problem of cheap housing, the report aims to demonstrate what makes a city the most livable in 2025.
On a number of topics, such as the variety of cultural activities offered, the quantity of open areas, and the ease of accessing information on local government decisions, Dubai came out on top among the top four cities.
