Dubai to get four Etihad Rail stations as high-speed link expands

Dubai will have four stations connected to the Etihad Rail network, with two serving the upcoming high-speed rail link between Dubai and Abu Dhabi, RTA Director General Mattar Al Tayer said. The emirate will also have two national Etihad Rail stations, including the upcoming Al Yalayis Station, set to open on September 30.

The separate Dubai-Abu Dhabi high-speed rail project will add two stations in Dubai, at Al Maktoum International Airport and Al Jaddaf, Al Tayer said.

Dubai’s 2032 rail network map shows the high-speed line running alongside the Red Line, mainly along Al Khail Road. The fully electric Etihad Rail service will connect Dubai and Abu Dhabi in around 30 minutes, supporting faster travel and a more integrated UAE-wide transport network. RTA and Etihad Rail are working together to link the new stations with Dubai’s wider transport system.
