Elon Musk's Neuralink is launching its first clinical trial at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi

Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, in collaboration with the Department of Health Abu Dhabi, is hosting the first clinical study in the Middle East for Neuralink, Elon Musk's neurotechnology business. According to the corporation, the 'UAE-PRIME' experiment will investigate how people with speech and motor impairments may communicate and operate equipment using their minds.

In order to cure a variety of neurological disorders, Neuralink is working to create implantable brain-computer interfaces, or BCIs. The firm was started by Elon Musk in 2016 with the goal of creating a direct connection between computers and the human brain. Neuralink's technology has the potential to improve human capacities and treat ailments like epilepsy and paralysis, according to Musk, who is well-known for his involvement in other future businesses like SpaceX and Tesla.
