To accommodate the thousands of pilgrims making the once-in-a-lifetime trip to Makkah, Emirates announced 33 special flights to Jeddah and Madinah for this year's Hajj season. These flights will operate till May 31 and from June 10 to June 16.
As travelers head to summer vacation spots or visit loved ones for Eid celebrations, Emirates will also run 13 more flights to/from regional locations, such as Amman, Dammam, Kuwait, and Bahrain, to satisfy the high demand during the Eid Al Adha season.
Over the course of the next three weeks, Emirates will be carrying up to 32,000 Hajj travelers from strategic locations across its network, including the United States, Pakistan, Indonesia, South Africa, Thailand, and Côte d'Ivoire.
Pilgrims in every cabin will receive unique 'Hajj' luggage tags while traveling, in addition to a recently unveiled Hajj kit that includes a prayer mat, silicon water bottles, cushioned non-slip socks, and tasbih beads for prayer, mindfulness, and continuous remembrance.
In addition to ablution-friendly facilities, unscented towels, unique announcements designating Al Miqat zones, and Hajj-specific content on ice, all special Hajj flights provide pilgrims with a personalized experience. Additionally, all travelers returning from Madinah and Jeddah are permitted to check in up to five liters of holy water (Zamzam), which should be stored in the cargo section of the airplane.
