Tickets for Guggenheim Abu Dhabi are now available, allowing visitors to reserve entry ahead of the museum’s December 11 opening on Saadiyat Island.
General admission is priced at Dh70, while entry is free for visitors under 18, UAE students and those aged 60 and above. Discounted tickets will also be offered to eligible groups. The museum will showcase modern and contemporary art from the 1960s to today, adding a major new cultural destination to Abu Dhabi.
Designed by late Pritzker Prize-winning architect Frank Gehry, Guggenheim Abu Dhabi spans 11,600 square metres and features 28 galleries, a central atrium and 10 sculptural cones. It will showcase painting, sculpture, photography, installation, moving image and new media, focusing on artistic connections across cultures and regions. The museum is being developed by Abu Dhabi’s Department of Culture and Tourism in partnership with the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation.
