Amid regional tensions, several places of worship have announced temporary closures as a precaution. Dubai’s Hindu Temple said it will remain closed until further notice for safety reasons, in line with official directives.
Gurudwara Guru Nanak Darbar Dubai also confirmed its closure until further notice, urging community cooperation.
Several churches across the emirate have suspended services and masses from today, despite it being Passion Week, a time that عادة sees large gatherings.
Earlier, on March 9, BAPS Hindu Mandir announced a similar closure, noting that while visitors are not allowed, prayers for peace and protection will continue.
