Small-scale plant production farms in Abu Dhabi will be regulated by authorities; aims to improve the quality of local agricultural products

Authorities in Abu Dhabi will oversee small-scale plant production farms to guarantee the sustainable use of natural resources, enhance the revenue of small farmers, and promote local goods. 

The goal of the legislation is to improve the quality of locally produced agricultural goods and increase their competitiveness in the market by establishing defined guidelines for the practice of plant production on farms.

The ruling also attempts to control the use of the farm's registered trade name, the recording of agricultural activities, and the farm's output log. 

In an effort to promote the agricultural industry and ensure food security in Abu Dhabi, ADFASA urged everyone in the community to purchase locally grown food and to deal directly with farmers.
