Using 24,514 handprints gathered from individuals of more than 100 countries, the enormous piece of art was constructed and is now officially part of the Guinness World Records. From laborers to kids, from delivery drivers to community members of all ages and ethnicities, people united to express their love and gratitude for the United Arab Emirates.
The flag was finished after more than 39 sessions, which started on April 13 at Al Quoz. Volunteers traveled throughout the nation, gathering handprints from community centers, labor camps, schools, and schools in Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Abu Dhabi, and Al Ain.
