The first specialized museum devoted to the UAE's agricultural history is about to open. The UAE Agricultural Exhibition, which will take place from May 28 to May 31 at the Adnec Centre in Al Ain, will mark the official opening of the National Agricultural Museum.
The museum, which is intended to be an interactive and educational experience, will employ cutting-edge technology and extensive historical material to tell the tale of agriculture in the United Arab Emirates, from its pre-union beginnings to its modern developments.
With complete support for Emirati farmers, the show, which has as its subject "With agriculture, we thrive and the world thrives," is in line with the UAE's National Food Security Strategy 2051.
22 federal and government agencies, more than 60 commercial and startup businesses, four government colleges, and more than 1,000 students will all be participating in the show.
The four-day exhibition will have a number of specialized areas that prioritize innovation and diversity.
One of the main attractions is the "Farmers' Exhibition," which features regional produce with an emphasis on beekeepers and premium Emirati honey. Farmers will have the opportunity to offer their goods in both domestic and foreign markets.
