The Dubai Metro Blue Line, one of the city’s largest transport projects, will span 30km across two routes and connect northeastern Dubai to the existing Metro network. Scheduled to open in 2029, the line is expected to serve around one million residents and visitors. It includes a 15.5km underground section and is projected to reduce traffic congestion by 20% while providing direct airport access to nine key areas.
